Privacy Policy
Last updated: March 27, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Influencers Canada (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and discloses information when you use our public marketing website at influencerscanada.com (the “Site”).
Our separate web application for accounts, listings, and subscriptions is hosted at app.influencerscanada.com (the “App”). The App has its own sign-in, billing, and profile features; this policy focuses on the Site. If you use the App, additional data practices described in the App’s policies may apply.
If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the Site.

Information we collect on this Site
Information you provide
This Site is primarily informational. We do not operate a contact form on this Site. If you email us, we receive your email address, name (if you include it), and the contents of your message.
Information collected automatically
When you visit the Site, our hosting and infrastructure providers may automatically receive technical data such as:
- IP address
- Browser type and version
- General device or operating system information
- Pages viewed and approximate time on page
- Referring URL
We use this information to operate, secure, and improve the Site.
Public directory content
Some pages may display public creator or directory information loaded from our backend (for example, featured or sample listings). That content is intended for display on the Site and does not, by itself, identify you as a visitor unless you are the subject of a public profile you chose to publish through the App.
Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies and browser storage where needed for basic functionality, for example:
- Language preference (so we can show English or French consistently)
- Theme preference (light/dark display), which may be stored in a cookie or local storage
We do not use advertising cookies on this Site. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect language or theme persistence.
How we use information
We use the information above to:
- Provide and maintain the Site
- Remember your language and display preferences
- Respond to emails you send us
- Monitor security, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot
- Understand aggregate use of the Site (for example, which pages are viewed) in a way that does not identify individuals where possible
Legal bases (Canada)
Where applicable, we rely on:
- Consent (for example, non-essential cookies or marketing communications, if we add them later and ask you to opt in)
- Legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving the Site
- Performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps when you engage with paid services through the App (governed by separate terms)
Canadian privacy law, including the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial laws, may apply depending on your situation.
Service providers
We use trusted third parties to host and run the Site and related services, including:
- Hosting and deployment (for example, Vercel)
- Backend and data services (for example, Convex, for public content served to the Site)
These providers process information only as instructed by us and for the purposes described in this policy, subject to their own security and privacy practices.
International processing
Our service providers may process or store information in Canada, the United States, or other countries. Those jurisdictions may have different privacy laws than your province or territory. We take steps we consider appropriate to protect personal information in line with this policy and applicable law.
Retention
We retain information only as long as needed for the purposes above, unless a longer period is required by law. Server logs are typically kept for a limited period. Email correspondence is kept as needed to respond to you and for our records.
Disclosure
We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or competent authority, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Influencers Canada, our users, or the public. We may share information in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice where required by law.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Your rights
Depending on applicable law, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, to withdraw consent where processing is consent-based, or to lodge a complaint with a privacy regulator (for example, the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada).
To exercise these rights, contact us at hello@influencerscanada.com.
Children
The Site is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under the age required by your province or territory) without appropriate parental consent. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.
Links
The Site may link to the App, social profiles, or other third-party sites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Please read their policies before providing information.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above. For material changes, we may provide additional notice on the Site.
